Our Story
CloudForest was born on the rooftop garden of the Salesforce Transit Center in San Francisco while overlooking the city as the fog rolled in. The rooftop hosts diverse ecosystems from around the world, including a cloud forest biotope native to the region. Obscured, layered, and interdependent, the cloud forest is a fitting metaphor for the modern technology landscape many organizations struggle to navigate today.
Most organizations operate within that fog. Platforms are disconnected. Data is scattered. Integrations are fragile. Boutique consultancies often make this worse by overselling, cutting corners, or delivering work without true craftsmanship.
CloudForest exists to bring clarity to this landscape.

Meet the Founder
About Dusty
Dusty founded CloudForest after more than a decade of operations management, entrepreneurship, and enterprise technology consulting. He has led teams in demanding environments, including as a Territory Operations Manager for BNSF Railway (Fortune 500) and as a Team Lead at SFMTA where he was recognized by the City of San Francisco with the agency's prestigious GEM Award. Now based in Salt Lake City, Dusty enjoys spending his free time outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, endurance running, and exploring the Utah desert.
He believes technology should support people, not overwhelm them. Craftsmanship matters. Integrity matters. And organizations deserve partners who help them see clearly through the complexity.
